TWISTERBOX
Twisterbox is synonymous with continuous layer formation. Presented by ACMI back in 2002, Twisterbox has actually revolutionised the concept of layer formation and allowed palletising systems to reach very high speeds. Twisterbox has a robust and accessible structure suitable for containing one to three gripping modules. Each module consists of a robotic carbon gripper that moves along the two Cartesian axes to handle the packs that slide on a motorised belt and thus form the layer of product to be palletised. Delicacy, speed, flexibility and precision are the key features of this system, which, in its most complete configuration, is capable of reaching speeds of 140,000 cans per hour in 2x2 packs even without overpacking. Special applications: Repacking, GoGreen.
